AREA57 Colombian Restaurant in Miami Beach

I’ve been a loyal customer eating here (breakfast, lunch and mostly dinner) for almost a year. The food options are great and the quality of their products are outstanding (unique I should said in the area of Sunny Isles). I’ve been away on a business trip for a month. The waitresses are always greeting people with a smile and great recommendations based on what you like. Totally recommended and definitely a place to go back. Thanks again for such great customer service.

Very expensive. Free parking. The food here is Delicious, Colombian food won’t disappoint ! I loved their beef empanadas and pandebonos!!!

We go to Area 57 everytime we visit the area. The food is delicious and well presented! Clean restaurant and friendly, efficient staff. Definitely recommend it!

Too expencive

One side of pork belly $7+ tax. I thought each side was going be enough for two people, considering the price and the description I was given, well it wasn’t (it is one slice cut into small pieces). I ended up paying close to $50 on an order it was supposed to be $23 and some change. Most expensive slice of pork belly I will ever pay for.

I spent a few days in Miami Beach and the hotel I was at had terrible food. We ventured out just a block away and found this gem of a restaurant. The wait staff were exceptional, very polite and attentive. We ate here everyday of the trip, sometimes ordering from their excellent bakery and other times from the dinner menu. They serve excellently prepared steak and chicken meals, it was most delicious and fresh. I really haven’t had such good quality food of that type before! Highly recommended!

Good coffee, fluffy pastry 👌

It was our first time getaway at Miami. Right in front of our hotel we found this Colombian restaurant. I hesitated first to go there but it totally surprised me with their home style cooking. I ordered a seafood dish with coconut milk. It was unforgettable and palate kicking taste. Service was great!

Excellent food and really nice servers. They don't speak English very well, but that's Miami . I was really satisfied and highly recommend that place

Very good food, excellent service, fair prices. If you want to try authentic colombian food go there and enjoy the delicious dishes. And do try the different juices. So yummy, fresh and healthy! Restrooms are very clean and stylish. Take out and delivery available.

The food in this place was good. For some reason I didn't feel it was super fresh, but it had good flavor. The waiter was nice, but the host is trying to hard to sell you food, which was not very comfortable for me.

It is an excellent place to enjoy Colombian food, but I don't understand why the tip (18%) is included even for a party of one or just two.

Food was a good sampling of Colombian favorite bakery and appetizers. Worth stopping by.

Enough popular place for travelers. And very crowded at lunchtime. We had lunch here and were pleased. Excellent food! We had a very good impression!

Terrible customer service! I was asked to move from my seat because one of the ladies wanted to mop...after I was already sitting there. She wanted to mop and made me move to another table....what? Food was alright but the way she treated me left a salty taste in my mouth for the whole experience (no pun intended lol).Then come to find out, they add a 15% service charge to the total. I could’ve gotten it removed but I was in a hurry and didn’t want to deal with it. But originally was going to only leave a dollar because of the rude treatment. So I had a bad experience and still had to leave a 15% tip!!! No wonder the service is so bad, they don’t have to earn their tips.Definitely won’t be back

Good Colombian food in the Miami / Sunny Isles area. Friendly service but a bit understaffed sometimes. Tables usually in need of cleaning, and waiting to pay can take get you few minutes. If you go, spare extra 15mins of your average time just in case.Bakery products and homemade desserts are the Bomb.Will go back for sure.👍🏼

Food good. We order 3 plates, the first one arrive 15 mins before the other 2. 30 us$ per plate.

Went here on our last night on vacation. Was very delicious. The waiters were all amazing. They continuously came to our table asking if everything was ok and if we needed anything. The only question I got is that there is a 15% service charge applied to the bill on top of taxes and the 3.50% fee for using your credit card. I assumed the service charge was gratuity? If that's what is is, they should just change the wording. I didn't leave a tip because I assumed that's what it was for. Great service and food though!

The staff here was very friendly. Tried just about every appetizer on the menu. The Yuca Frida was very tasty, but of all the food their empanadas were the best thing we ate.

I order ribs soap I was very cold not made in the same day the Arepa I was cold the service and the server are good.

The corn empanadas are excellent, and the staff is very attentive... Even to a non-spanish speaking tourist like me :)

Lovely cozy restaurant with a colorful Colombian cuisine. Excellent sea food, warm and professional service. I recommend this place for who appreciate real quality food and a relaxed atmosphere. Especially pleasing prices, excellent value for reasonable money. I recommend.

He rudely said well it depends, "WHAT DO YOU WANT"? I replied its for a large business. I would need a lot of food. He then cut me off and said I'm too busy. He hung up. Message to owner, find yourself a new store manager. If you want this business to thrive, management needs to improve.

Try this restaurant even if you are not Colombian or even hispanic! This is a very clean restaraunt and simply good food. The prices are probably the best in Sunny Isles for a good dinner. I am not hispanic and I really loved the food. I have tried the grilled chicken breast and breaded / butterflied fried chicken breast. Both comes with rice and red beans or French fries. My wife had the Churrasco(Skirt Steak) steak and fries. The restaraunt looks like a bakery but don't let that stop you. There are approximately 12 tables and a double sided counter to sit, all with table service. For appetizer order Beef Empanadas. Watchout for the Spicy Sauce they serve with them but it is EXCELLENT! I even put it on the rice! This is our GO-TO restaurant in the area.

Service was good but my fish was frozen still. And the empanadas were room temperature. Flavor good.

The food was exactly as pictured on the menu, yet it was shockingly delicious beyond what any picture could capture! What I initially thought to be a rather low-key eatery is now one of my favorites along the beach. Kind-hearted service accompanied the meal, and I was more excited after each bite. The food arrived quickly, and I must say, it was gone with just as much gusto! Sincere compliments to the chef and the rest of the staff. I will be seeing you again soon! Try the Bandeja Paisa for a wonderful variety.

Pricey but worth it. Bandeja Paisa and empanadas are great. Lived the presentation. Great desserts.

Authentic Colombian cuisines. You can choose from steaks to seafood. You can share appetizers. The atmosphere is modern but home like. The platters are fulfilling. If you take cash they wont charge you a 3.5 % as they would to your ccard. Gratuity is already added to your bill. You dont need to pay for parking. Owner is very pleasant and so are his servers. We will definitely be back. Our food was delicious the platters below says it all. I love flavor and boy did they deliver. Especially with my fried fish.

The absolutely worst service. Terrible attitude by the waitress. After arguing with the costumer on how I wanted the food, she sat down to eat at a table next to me. Great food, TERRIBLE service and attitude.

First time eating here, highly recommend!! Everything we ordered was delicious, we will be returning ehen we come back to Miami!!
